Features:
These Cornish notes were issued for a couple of days in 1985 on the orders of The Stannary, the ruling Council of Cornwall. They were accepted as token money in participating shops for two or three days and redeemed by the Stannary at Camborne, Cornwall. The issue was backed by Bank of England currency of a similar face value.
The notes I am offering were never redeemed and are now extremely rare. They also benefit from having matched low serial numbers which adds to their desirability and must be the cheapest set of thirty year old notes which actually circulated. The few others I have seen are lower than VF and the owners would not part with them!
